Spring is a time for lightening up, loosening up and dressing up.
The Spring 18 collection is refreshed with cool, relaxed silhouettes that outline the body with airy transparencies crafted in soft, textural gauzes, chiffons, habotai and washed charmeuse, balanced by a core group of crisp structured, tailored separates in canvas, linen twills and nubby basketweave, all woven with a touch of stretch for good measure and good old comfort.
Our spring collection begins with the mad-cap adventures of Audrey Hepburn in Funny Face. Forever chic, filled with a timeless energy and zest for a life lived in the moment, to it’s fullest. Harnessing that spirit led us to clean, mod-ern shapes that mirrored the iconic, effortless style of Anita Pallenberg and the crazy-cool Factory Girls, equally irreverent, yet somehow eternal. Shifts, halters, boxy structures, Mondrian-inspired prints, Bakelite and dazzling crystal beading capture that inherent sixties-style of effortlessrenewal.
Shifting from structure to soft, we were seduced by the sensuousness of Italian Renaissance underpinnings. The allure of what lies beneath. To-the-manor-born, lingerie-worthy laces in jet and antique ivory crochet, hand-crafted pineapple smocking, moody floral tapestries and replicas of painstaking needlepoint-imagined gardens.
